Hi Mellie - there always seems to be something new and unexpected to catch us unawares in this game   I know it makes sense to have this issue seen to before you begin upon IVF but when you didn't realise there was a problem to begin with, it can be difficult to get your head around it.  I hope the procedure goes smoothly for you at the end of the month and, if there is a polyp, that this can be sorted out easily. It's better to have it seen to now I guess.  Do you know will you get dates sorted for starting IVF after the procedure?
