How are you?

Just wondering what's happening. The site seems quite. Hope everybody is doing ok at what ever stage you are at. Just remember that there are people who understand and have gone and are going through the same journey. (All in their own way) But most of the feelings of high and low on this road are difficult.

Remember that dreams do come through

Take care Cats

Re: Seems to be back on trackRe: How are you?

Hi all,

I still log on to this forum and hope to go to the next nisig meeting in Cork.

We are awaiting our adoption declaration from Dublin to start the next stage of our adoption journey. It is a very tough time for anyone on the adoption journey at the moment with countries closed etc.

Although we are on a different  journey (it sometimes feels like being on a very, very long treatment) I still feel the grief of infertility and it can still be very painful at times.

Best wishes to everyone here. Folle

Re: Seems to be back on trackRe: How are you?

All the very best to you, Lyn, with your frozen cycle.  Hope you can build yourself up nicely between now and then!  Those months between cycles can feel like limbo... neither one thing nor the other.

Folle, I hope your declaration comes through quickly and then you can move on to the next stage.  I admire your sticking at the whole process - from what I have experienced of the adoption process, it can be difficult and invasive and therefore distressing.  You've done great to make it to the declaration stage, through the course and assessment - well done to you both.  I hope the rest of the journey is smooth and fast!!
