Sperm analysis

hi all, feeling a bit naive even writing this but my hubby is booked in for a sperm analysis next week and as i know what the procedure involves i am just wondering if us ladies are to attend?? Might sound like a stupid question but this is all new to me and i know unfortunately that we are all in the same boat and you may be able to shed some light on the situation for me. All comments greatly appreciated!!!! Wishng everybody the best with all thats going on for them, it's only early days for us but at times we just really feel down it's just not fair but we have to be there to win so we'll try to keep the bright side out. Take care Killy xxx

Re: Sperm analysis

Hi Killy.

We attended the Hari clinic for our investigations tests about 3yrs ago. The day my DH had to have his sperm analysis I was getting my test done  aswell. He went off to do his  test (It was weird. We laughed I asked him did he need help, he didn't, small room provided with helpful material ). He managed all by himself but the moral support or the feeling of going through this together was important for us.

The whole process can take allot of time, so if time off work is a problem, you won't ned to hold his hand going in. Glad to say my manger & collegues were great.

Our journey was like being on a rollercoaster ( that's how I think about it) but some how we got throught it together.

Take care of each other and if you can attend the NISIG meeting sthey were a life saver. Great to meet people with real advice & information.I looked forward to them.

Glad to say our dreams came through and we have happy ending .

Wishing you and your hubbie the best of luck

Cats

Re: Sperm analysis

Hi Cats,

We are so delighted to hear of your sucess it is uplifting . Thank you also for taking time out to reply i bet you are really busy it means so much to speak to somebody tha has been down this road, people are great (family friends etc..) but at the end of the day they dont realise what a strain it can be.

We are both fairly lucky wth our work situations i work in a school so at the moment i am off for the summer and my husband is self employed so no probs there, so i will probarbly go along with him for the S.A. as you say a little bit of moral support goes along way !!!!!!

The meetings sound great so  I think we will definately be attending those..

Great to hear things have worked out so well for you and your husband ,

Take care & thanks again Killy
