I am coming off pill tomorrow ,thank god, that was very hard. I felt very tired and was getting cramps in my legs .We have our first scan on Monday so please god everything will be good. injections are going well I am in bed every night at 9 just feeling so tired. My husband gets my injections ready for me every morning with my cup of tea . He is absolutly brilliant really is a rock.Sometimes I think these things are sent to try and test us but it can really bring you much closer as a couple also .Congratulations Cat & Al on your lovely twins , it is good to know there are happy endings .I am 36 and just feel time is not on my side any more. We have talked to doc in simms about doner eggs also and is definatly something we would do.At the moment my husbands sperm is frozen because doc. said it would probably be this time next year before we go for it.We live in Dublin and would be very intrested in attending a NSIG meeting if you could just let me know more about them please
Thanks again Nxx.

Hi Noelleao, how are you getting on with your cycle at this stage? I hope it has gone smoothly and that you are now on the 2WW and that a positive is just around the corner. I second what Cats says about trying not to get too worried about age at this stage - the success rates for your age group are still very high. I know it's a factor, but age is still on your side.
Best of luck!
HI NOELLEAO,
Glad you are feeling a bit better and that you are thinking of coming along to a meeting. I found them an invaluable source of support prior to and during my treatment. If is just so great to meet people in the same position as yourself. I found that, although my friends and family tried their best to be supportive, they didn't really understand what i was going through. You can't fully understand unless you have been through it yourself. Although my IVF treatment was successful I still go to the meetings now and again, because I made great friends through the group, I still find the support useful and also because when i was having my treatment I got a great boost from meeting people at the meetings who had successful treatment or even who hadn't had success but had survived. It made me think, whatever happens I will survive too! The next meeting is set for Saturday the 13th of September. Are you able to make it on that day?
