Re: First consultation at fertility clinic

Hi Jen 123,

It sounds like you and hubby have been through the ringer. I'm sorry to hear about both ivf cycles .

I like you talk alot about this to my hubby as he is the only person I know who is going through this. But sometimes he

doesn't want to talk about it. Which in fairness I can't blame him as it does take over a bit. I know what you mean about the recession..

babies and bumps EVERYWHERE. Jaysus it would make you want to scream

In a weird way I'm looking forward to appointment..we might finally get some answers! Might not be what we want to hear but answers none the less.

Take Care,

Maraine

Re: First consultation at fertility clinic

Thanks Cats,

I took clomid (50mg) for last 2 months, pescribed by GP but nothing. So didnt take this month as I wanted to be free of any drugs for the appointment. Yeah I'll just have to be patient (no my strong point) .

I hope to go to NISIG meeting in Lim. My hubby is refusing...you know what men can be like but I think he might change his mind down the line.

Not long now to appointment less than 2weeks.

Maraine.

Re: First consultation at fertility clinic

Hi Marine.

I'm sure you are looking forward to.That first app seems to take forever to come around. At least you will know one way or another if there is a problem.I plan on going to the Dublin meeting on May 7.My hubby has no intention of going.Talkiing to stranger or anyone except me is so not him.

Glad to see all the babies and bumps annoy you as much as they do me.I just feel very hard done by at times.Thank god I'm in good form last couple of weeks. Please let it last another few now.

Take care.

Re: First consultation at fertility clinic

Hi.

Im yet to have any first appointment so cant help you there yet. i really do find that this process is very hard. work suffers, friendships suffer.

My close friends would listen if i talked to them, most of the time i dont want to talk becos its like upturning soil and i get upset. Seems like nothing else is more important now in life than the journey were going on. i understand how u feel
