"Hopefully " you decided to take the plunge and go to the Cork meeting tonight ! Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, I just wanted to point out that one thing that is really emphasized at the start of every meeting is the fact that everything said in the room stays in the room, it is completely confidential. I always find it a very safe space, where I can relax, safe in the knowledge that I won't be hijacked by an insensitive remark.  The other thing is re IVF, I was also very dubious about it but I found it wasn't half as bad as I expected. The medications are basically higher doses of the hormones which regulate your cycle naturally (although granted, the effects can feel a bit unnatural!) But mainly, it felt good to be able to DO something which actually had a chance of success. Best wishes
