Hi Baby,
We are taking a couple of months off and are back at the Doc at the end of April, so hope to start again as soon as we can after that. At the moment I'm enjoying being medication free, we've been trying to get pregnant for 5 years and for three and a half of those years I've been on some sort of meds. We started off with clomid then had 2 IUI's, then 2 Ovulation Inductions, then started on IVF, the first one was cancelled half way through as I wasn't responding to the meds, then we went on to have 2 further failed IVF's. It's been a tough journey but I know it will all end well, I was born to be a mother and someday I know I will be.
Try not to think about your past experiences, each cycle is different so this could be THE ONE. Keep positive xx
Hi Covie, just wanted to let you know about our little embies, we are down to 5, 1-5 cell, 3-7 cell & 1-8 cell. The quality is not that good. Got scheduled for transfer on Sat, if there would be a transfer... I am hopping and praying, but will take what happens and will keep going...
baby...
Hi Baby
Just read your post just to let you know we are thinking of you and wishing you all the best. Hope you have had some little embies for transfer ?today Take care and be good to yourself
Covie and meave, both thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I had the transfer today. Only 3 embies had survived, 1-morula, and 2-early blastocyst I am a bit disappointed, since we had such a great fertilization rate compared to the other 2 cycles, I was hopping that we were going to have full blastocysts, but yet, it was not meant to be. Doc said that their quality was the same as the 2nd cycle, slow and fragmented... I do not hide much hope for a viable pregnancy, but I am in peace with that... I have done research on a clinic that works with donor eggs, and we might go that road, but will check out the donor embryos possibility as well. I will surely keep you posted.
Wishing you the best...
baby
As Maeve said, be good to yourself, take things really easy, keep your tummy warm by eating lots of nourishing food. In one of the books I have they say that visulization exercises are very beneficial, so try to visualize your blood flow going straight to your abdomen and I swear you can feel your tummy getting warmer, I believe it really works and of course keep positive, remember all is takes is one fighter to hang on.
Thinking of you and hoping you'll have good news xx
