Re: Donner recipiant

Wow Meave CONGRATS!!!  That is fantastic news!  What happened on Saturday then and have you been in touch with the clinic again?  Is it sinking in at all??

I very much hope it is third time lucky for you - you're certainly an important step ahead in the right direction

Re: Donner recipiant

Hi caitriona

Tested again fri and sat .It is still sinking in I can't really believe it. Its still positive,  also tested this morning I Know I sound like I am losing the plot but on my last pregnancey I had a positive test only to go to GP a couple of days later to find it was negative . I used clearblue digital with conception date on friday it said conception was 2-3 weeks previous I used a second one today and its now says 3 week plus since conception which wud leave me 5 weeks preg I will not be five weeks until thursday so maybe there is more than one or a  strong one. I decided I needed to know if level was rising and ok after my last experience. Going to gp this morning feel like bringing all the positive tests with me ,on my inital appointment last time they said it just was a false positive and not real preg I had loads of symptoms. When I told Sims they said that it must of been a biochemical preg and to trust my own feelings as when on fertility train women tend to become very tuned into their bodies. Have rang them and left message. I am almost afraid to be to happy in case it all goes wrong but i will have to thank mr clearblue for reasuring me this am , I need this pregnecey to be recognised and documentated  in my medical records  as I know my last one was not acknowleged by them which upset me greatly.and if god forbid things go wrong again that the loss is acknowleged  Don't mean to sound negative We are delighted and excited but wud love to go into a nice baby friendly coma to week 12 and to wake up to be told all is well

Meave

Re: Donner recipiant

Hi Everyone

Just a quick note to say We had our seven week scan yesterday at the sims and its twins in shock and still finding it hard to believe as I have no real symptoms apart from being tired. Its the best christmas present ever and one we have wanted for so long. We had a scare in form of bleed at five weeks so was very nervous but all appears well. We never thought it could happen for us and are taking it week by week. Happy Christmas to you all and may all your dreams come true in 2010 the last couple of christmas's have not been easy so I understand it can be a difficult time for some people . Thank you all for being there it helps to have people who we can share the journey with who truely understand all the ups and downs on this emotional rollercoaster.

Re: Donner recipiant
Fabulous news, Meave!!! How amazing! Don't be wishing too many symptoms on yourself there, now ;-) although I know you would take them all with a huge heart. Take it easy now, mind yourself, keep the feet up!

Thinking of you this Christmas.
